Let's face it. I’m not going to reinvent the wheel. My father was someone who, even making his infamous Saturday Chef Boyaredee tuna and potato chip pizza was someone who tweaked the recipe and invented something…different…sometimes not palitable… sometimes so crazy it actually worked.

How about our local guy here in Syracuse.Willis Haviland Carrier is widely recognized as the inventor of modern air conditioning. In 1902, while working for the Buffalo Forge Company, he designed the first modern air conditioning system to solve a humidity problem at the Sackett & Wilhelms Lithography and Printing Company. This system not only controlled temperature but also humidity, which was crucial for the printing process. Carrier's invention laid the foundation for the modern air conditioning industry. And Carrier was 26 and the story is he dreamed this up waiting for a train!

They say necessity is the mother of invention. In a world that snubs different ways of thinking it's heartbreaking that we have to accept that RFKjr is the be all and end all in Health and Human services and Sharin McMahon is the head of the Department of Education. That DEI is eliminated. That COVID prevention isn't necessary. That Medicaid and SNAP are headed the way of the dinosaurs. That Proud Boys are now ICE agents. That tradwives are acceptable but individual feminist pro choice single women are anathma.

How many steps backwards do we have to take before Simon/FOTUS says go forward again.

There has got to be progress soon politically or they won't be impressive progress to celebrate because there won't be actual future. My advice?
